The word ‘metta’ means loving kindness – the practice of goodwill, benevolence and non-violence.

We are big fans of wellbeing, peace and goodwill.
At the risk of sounding like Miss Universe contestants, we at Metta Scents believe there is always scope for more peace and goodwill in the world. And more wellbeing in our lives. (Hint: the two are connected.)

We believe that when people understand each other, there is less fear, more kindness and compassion.
That is why we’ll be travelling the world to collect the stories of the people who make and use incense (and taking photos, too). Did you know that around two thirds of the world’s people use incense as part of their culture? We’ll be sharing their stories with you. You might find you have something in common with someone you’ve never met.

How we do business:
Mindfully. That means we pay attention to the effects of our actions on people, animals and this planet. We treat all living things with respect and are continually learning so we can use the most ethical and sustainable processes and products.
